There are more bespoke tailors in Rome than Caraceni. In fact, Rome have a lot of tailors, who can make you a fine suit. A paid one of them, Sartoria Gallo on Via Flavia, a visit, when I had one day in Rome not long ago. The young gentleman and his father, Luigi Gallo, also teach at the bespoke tailoring school in Rome.

I am not sure who makes Charles’ suits these days, but Welsh & Jefferies is his military tailor. Welsh & Jefferies is a rather small tailor shop run by James Cottrell and Malcolm Plews. Among others, they employ Yingmei Quan, who won this year’s Golden Shears Contest.
