What captures a suit and an attire the better way? Photo or video?
On the web we usually prefer a photo. We feel it is easier to check details and see how things fit. A video can distract us from the suit itself.
Truth is that we will meet suits in action (people walking) or in bended positions (people sitting down) mostly. In that perspective a photo often becomes an abstraction, a poor representation of reality.
On the other hand, the cut of a suit begins, when we are standing in an upright position. That’s tradition. It should fit and flatter us nicely in that archaic position.
A photo as a reference point makes sense in that perspective. It aligns with our archaic inner man of the past.
