Gentleman style at The Royal Arcade
Saturday last week: I was about to leave Cleverley, the bespoke shoemaker, when I noticed a gentleman outside in The Royal Arcade dressed in a bold and stylish attire. I grab the camera asking permission to take a photo.
His use of colours and accessories had a classic English eccentricity to it. He wore, what I suppose is a London shirtmaker speciality, a shirt made up from different striped fabrics. He paired his bespoke peak lapel dogtooth jacket with wine red cord trousers. For headgear he wore a green newsboy.
Gentleman style in Mount Street
In Mount Street, not far away from The Royal Arcade, a saw another attire that I will categorize as gentleman style. However, that attire was more polished and safe. The man wore a grey double breasted suit, flt hat, a slip-on coat and a scarf from Burberry. He used a Louis Vuitton suit bag.
