The titel is a bit ironic. There is no distinct suit style in Copenhagen. You see men in suits, of course, yet they are minority, and usually they will not wear a tie. In other words, there is no remarkable suit style in Copenhagen, unless you find those few men, who relate to an international sartorial community, and who are dedicated to dress well in suits.

I met some of those dedicated men a month ago. It was raining, and we took shelter at Promenaden, an old café on Frederiksberg Allé.

We were talking politics, tailors and what makes a well-dressed men.

Peter Undén, one of two or three tailors in Copenhagen, who can make a traditional bespoke suit, dropped by.

Jeppe, young, yet one of the most sartorially experienced and best dressed men in Copenhagen, was sporting a blue suit from Musella Dembech, brown shoes from Norwegian shoemaker Jan Petter Myhre and a double four-in-hand tie knot.

Finally, it stopped raining, and we could flash the garments outside.
