Vintage silks are recognizable thanks to an aesthetic mind, a silk texture and a hand printing technique, which are gone.
I think a necktie in vintage silk is for the advanced dresser mostly. It is not an easy ready-to-wear item. You have to conquer it from history.
These ties are made by Antonio Muro in Naples using vintage silks woven in the Como region decades ago. Supply is limited, obviously. The ties are cut to my specifications in size 152 x 9 Cms, a tad wider than the fashion ties. I am not fond of skinny lapels and skinny ties. They lack generosity.
Unlike more known tiemakers from Naples (I shall not mention names), the Antonio Muro family makes all ties itself. There is a transparent relation between name and a product.
